FLEX DEVELOPER is responsible for one of the most mission critical aspects of the business: visualizing our data and statistical models in dozens of Flash widgets, ubiquitously deployed across the Internet. The Senior Flex Developer makes daily decisions which impact the company*s future.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Maintain and develop widgets and features by collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Requirement analysis and estimation
• Integrate Flex/Flash widgets with partner web applications
• Writing and running development tests
• Continuous refactoring/integration
• Document the code and techniques
• Continually update and improve developer skills through research and reading
• Special projects as assigned

Skills, Knowledge & Education

• Minimum 3 years programming experience
• Flex experience using object oriented concepts
• Clear understanding of design patterns
• Experience using frameworks like MVC, cairngorm, and PureMVC
• Bachelors degree or higher (ideally in Computer Science or Engineering) OR equivalent experience
• Significant experience with technologies & toolsets relevant to Flex: BlazeDS, Accessibility, localization, SEO integration
• Experience working in a process driven development environment
• Hands-on experience in RIA UI design and implementation
• You are self-motivated and an entrepreneur at heart, with an insatiable can-do mentality
