Based in San Bruno, CA, we are a leading provider of Wi-Fi security and connectivity solutions to handset, PC and consumer electronics manufacturers. Our product enables Wi-Fi enabled devices to seamlessly connect to home, enterprise and public networks. The latest product release includes an innovative location based service platform and low cost virtual access network, in addition to a comprehensive connectivity suite.

We are currently looking to hire for a Development Manager that has expertise in the mobile software applications arena. We are looking for strong experience in the Client-Side applications side of things vs server-side or hardware.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a group of development engineers and determining project schedules and milestones for development projects. Additionally, the Development Manager will be responsible for managing Professional Services projects and managing all incoming customer support requests.

The development group is responsible for developing the core SDK based product, Easy Wi-Fi, in addition to developing consumer ready versions of the Easy Wi-Fi client on the iPhone, Nokia S60, Android and other mobile platforms. As a result, the successful candidate must have prior experience developing mobile software applications, and preferably experience with Wi-Fi or at least wireless technologies.

Since this position also involves managing professional services projects, it will involve some customer interaction and a small amount of travel.

Must have skills:
1.) Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Development Manager in the mobile software applications and/or Wi-Fi space. We are looking for Client-Side application experience.

2.) 2+ years of experience with mobile software application development. Client-Side experience.

3.) A history of developing and launching successful software products to market, and a track record of success at previous companies.

4.) Leadership and initiative to get multiple tasks completed independently

5.) Solid technical background, with an understanding of Wi-Fi, mobile communications (GSM, UMTS, HSPA, LTE etc.), consumer electronics and embedded systems etc.

6.) Understanding and use of wireless mobile devices, social networking applications, Web 2.0 and a general interest and enthusiasm for all things tech!

7.) Desire to work in a small startup environment and take on multiple responsibilities.

8.) Bachelor\‘s degree (Masters preferred)
